Why did my peptide arrive as a powder?

All of our peptides are lyophilized (freeze-dried) — this is the gold standard for research peptide storage. Lyophilized peptides have a significantly longer shelf life, maintain higher purity, and are far more stable during shipping than pre-mixed liquid solutions. Prior to laboratory use, they are typically reconstituted with a suitable sterile solvent such as Bacteriostatic Water.

How are lyophilized peptides reconstituted in a lab setting?

In a laboratory setting, lyophilized peptides are reconstituted by introducing a sterile solvent (such as Bacteriostatic Water) into the vial, then allowing the compound to dissolve completely before use in research applications. What is Bacteriostatic Water and why is it used in peptide research?

Bacteriostatic Water (BAC Water) is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol, which inhibits bacterial growth. It is the standard solvent used in laboratory settings to reconstitute lyophilized research peptides for in vitro and preclinical research applications. Order research-grade BAC Water here.

How should research peptides be stored?

Lyophilized (powder): Store in a cool, dry environment away from light. For long-term storage, freezer conditions are recommended. Most lyophilized peptides maintain stability for 12–24 months under proper storage conditions.
Reconstituted: Store at refrigerated temperatures (2–8°C) and use within 30 days. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles once reconstituted.

Do you include instructions with orders?

We don't include printed materials with shipments. Full reconstitution protocols, storage guidelines, and research references for each compound are available on our research blog.

How long does shipping take?

Most orders ship within 1–2 business days. Domestic shipping typically takes 3–5 business days via USPS. You will receive a tracking number by email once your order ships.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship within the United States only.

My order hasn't arrived — what should I do?

Check your tracking number first (sent via email when your order shipped). If your package appears stuck or lost, contact us at support@palmettopeptides.com and we'll help resolve it.

What if I entered the wrong shipping address?

Please verify your shipping address carefully before completing your order. If a package is undeliverable or returned due to an incorrectly entered address, re-shipment is subject to a 50% re-shipping fee. We are unable to reroute packages once they have shipped, so please double-check your address at checkout.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit/debit cards (via Stripe), Zelle, and invoice-based payment. Payment options are shown at checkout.

I chose invoice payment — what happens next?

Are these products for human use?

No. All products sold by Palmetto Peptides are strictly for in vitro research and laboratory use only. They are not intended for human or veterinary use, consumption, or any therapeutic application. These compounds have not been evaluated or approved by the FDA for human use. All purchases are made with the understanding that the compounds will be used solely for legitimate scientific research.

Do your peptides come with a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?

Yes. All of our peptides are third-party tested and verified by an independent lab. COAs confirming purity and identity are posted on each product page for you to review — they are not physically sent with each order.
