FAQ
How much BAC water do I add to a 5mg peptide vial?
The most common approach is 1–2mL, giving you 5mg/mL or 2.5mg/mL respectively. Use the Reconstitution tab above to calculate any combination. Bacteriostatic Water is available in our catalog.
What's the difference between mg and mcg?
1 mg (milligram) = 1,000 mcg (micrograms). So a 5mg vial contains 5,000mcg. Use the Unit Converter tab above for instant conversions.
How do U-100 insulin syringe units relate to volume?
On a U-100 syringe: 1 unit = 0.01mL = 10μL. So 10 units = 0.1mL, 50 units = 0.5mL, 100 units = 1mL. The Dose Calculator shows your result in U-100 units automatically.
How should I store reconstituted peptides?
Refrigerate at 2–8°C. Use within 4–6 weeks. Keep lyophilized (unreconstituted) peptides frozen at -20°C. Never refreeze after reconstituting.
